New addition to Abu Hanife Mosque: Ali’s plot.
The clerics at Abu Hanife decided to make an addition to the mosque, consisting of a cemetery for about 50 new graves for the men, women, and children killed during the two-day battle in April 2003. This is the grave of Ali, a 10 year-old neighborhood boy one of the mosque officials said was killed by U.S. troops in a firefight.
